anyone going to the fly-in at Riverside park this weekend?

saw a flyer for it on the local RC club facebook page but cant find any details about whether its open to multirotors or just fixed wing. the last one i went to was kind of weirdly split between the old guard guys with their nitro planes and then a handful of us with quads and it felt a bit awkward honestly. hoping this one is more mixed

anyway if anyone from around here is going let me know, would be good to put some faces to names for once

yeah im going, bringing the 5inch and maybe the nano longrange if i can be bothered to pack it. the guy who organizes it told me its open to anything that flies so should be fine. last year was pretty chill tbh, the fixed wing guys were actually really curious about the fpv stuff once they saw what it could do

I've been to a few of those mixed events and honestly the fixed wing crowd warms up pretty quick once you let them have a look at the goggles. Just dont fly too close to the flight line and youll be fine, that seems to be the one thing they care about.
