ok so this wasnt even a drone thing really but i was out doing some slow cruising with the mavic, totally legal, well within the rules, keeping it low and away from people. some guy walks up and just starts going off about privacy and how i was recording him and honestly i wasnt even pointed in his direction. tried explaining but he just kept escalating. eventually just packed up and left because it wasnt worth it. happens to anyone else or am i just unlucky with locations

oh yeah this is basically a rite of passage at this point. i just smile and show them the screen if they'll let me. half the time once they see you're not actually zoomed in on their face they calm down. the other half you just gotta leave, not worth the stress

ugh i hate this. i got yelled at by a dog walker once and i was literaly 200 feet in the air. people just see a drone and assume the worst. nothing you can really do except be polite and move on i guess
