so this is kinda dumb but i went out yesterday fully intending to fly my mini 3 and then just... didnt. sat in the field for like an hour watching the clouds and eating a sandwich. had the controller out and everything. sometimes i think i just need an excuse to go outside and the drone is that excuse lol

dude i do this constantly. half the time i drive out to my spot, check the wind, decide its too gusty and then just hang out anyway. honestly some of my best afternoons have been when i didnt even pull the bird out of the bag. theres something about scouting locations that turns into just vibing and i have zero complaints about that

lol yes. my wife thinks im out flying every weekend but probably 30% of the time im just parked near a lake doing nothing. no regrets honestly the hobby got me outside more than anything else ever has
