so i heard through the club Facebook page that theres a casual fly-in happening saturday morning at Lakewood, near the east parking lot. i think it starts around 9am but nobody posted a clear time and i dont want to show up at like 7am like an idiot. does anyone here know more about it or is going? bringing my mini 3 pro probably unless the wind is bad in which case idk maybe my whoops

yeah im going, pretty sure it kicks off around 9:30 actually. last time i showed up right at 9 and literally nobody was there for like 40 minutes lol. its a pretty chill group, mix of fixed wing guys and some quads. bring whatever you want nobody cares

I went to one of these back in spring and honestly wasnt sure what to expect but it was really fun. Ended up talking to this older guy who flies vintage RC planes and he was super cool about answering my dumb questions. Whole vibe was relaxed, no one was being weird about specs or anything. Might swing by Saturday if I can get my act together the night before and charge everything up.
