so i heard through the local fb group theres a fly-in happening at Lakeside park saturday morning, think it starts around 9am but the post was kinda vague. anyone here going? ive never been to one of these group things before and not sure what to expect, do people just show up and fly or is there like a schedule or something

yeah i went to the one they did there back in spring. honestly its pretty chill, no real schedule just people hanging out and flying. someone usually brings a canopy and sets up a table with snacks lol. bring extra batteries thats really the main thing, you end up flying way more than you think because you get caught up watching everyone elses stuff

i wanna go but not sure if my mini 3 fits in with the crowd there, last time i went to something like that it was mostly freestyle guys with 5inch builds and i felt a bit out of place just doing slow cruisy flights lol. maybe ill stop by for an hour or so
