saw a post on facebook about a group fly-in happening at Ridgeline Park saturday morning, looks like its organized by the local RC club but they said drones are welcome too. been wanting to get out and actually fly with other people instead of just by myself in random fields. does anyone here go to these things regularly? not sure what to expect, like do people just show up and do their own thing or is there actual organized flying

yeah i went to one of those last spring, its pretty casual honestly. people just show up set up their gear and fly around, sometimes someone will do a little group thing but mostly its just everyone doing their own stuff and talking gear. bring snacks lol the morning ones go long

I've never been to a fly-in but I've been wanting to go to one for ages. let me know how it is if you end up going, im curious if its worth the drive for someone still on a mini 3
