so i finally made it out to one of those community fly-ins that my local club hosts every few months. honestly wasnt sure what to expect, i figured it would be a bunch of serious guys with expensive setups judging everyone elses gear. it was actually nothing like that. super relaxed, one dude had like a $200 whopper he built himself and was absolutely ripping it around while the guy next to him had a full mavic 3 cine setup. nobody cared. we just flew and talked. one older guy spent 20 minutes showing me how he sets up his expo curves which i never would have figured out on my own just from youtube. only weird part was the location was kind of a pain to find and parking was a mess but whatever, ill definately go back next month

this is exactly why i keep telling people to go to meetups. you learn more in an afternoon than weeks of solo flying. glad it worked out

the expo curve thing is huge, i was flying so twitchy for months before someone at a meetup helped me dial that in. also yeah finding these spots is always an adventure, half the time the pin in google maps is wrong lol
