honestly i just got the Avata 2 last month and i came from the original FPV drone setup and i kind of miss it lol. the FPV drone just feels more raw? like the Avata 2 is great and the image quality is
so ive been sitting on this decision for like two months now and i cant make up my mind. I already have the goggles 2 from when i borrowed my buddy's setup so that's taken care of, but im trying to figure out if the original DJI FPV drone is even worth considering at this point vs just going with the Avata 2.
my main thing is that i want to do some light acro, nothing crazy, just being able to do some manual tilts and maybe eventually get into full manual mode. From what i can tell the FPV drone actually has a wider manual mode that lets you do more aggressive stuff, but the Avata 2 is supposed to be way more stable and better in tight spaces. i mostly fly outdoors in open fields so the obstacle avoidance isnt a huge deal to me personally.
anyone who's actually flown both have thoughts? not looking for a spec sheet comparison i can read that myself, more just like real world feel between them
