ok so i shared a photo in a local facebook group, just an overhead shot of the town center, thought it looked pretty cool. and yeah people were nice about it but then i looked at it again later on a proper screen and its just... not that sharp. blurry in the corners and the colors are kind of flat. its straight out of the drone with no editing and i think that was my first mistake. didnt really think about it before posting, now its just out there being mediocre forever

do you guys always edit before sharing or am i the only one who just fires things off without thinking

haha yeah i've done this too, posted something and then immediately wished i hadn't. corner sharpness is usually a lens thing, most consumer drones aren't great wide open especially at the edges. shoot in the middle of the day when you have enough light and you can stop down a bit, helps a lot. and yeah always at least do a quick levels adjustment before sharing, makes a massive difference even just in lightroom mobile for free

tbh nobody in a facebook group is zooming in to check corner sharpness, they're looking at the composition. if the shot tells a story its a good shot imo. dont be too hard on yourself, the learning curve with aerial photography is steep and the only way to get better is to keep posting stuff even if its not perfect yet
