lightbridge was genuinely overengineered for its time and i dont think people give it enough credit. DJI basically moved away from it not because O3 is better in all situations but because O3 is cheap

idk i flew my air 2s in downtown chicago once and barely had any issues past like 600m which surprised me. but industrial areas are probably a whole different animal with all the machinery running. ha

okay so i still have my old phantom 4 pro sitting around and ive been flying it alongside my air 2s for a while now and honestly the lightbridge on the p4p still feels more solid to me in certain environments. like at this one spot i fly near an industrial area the air 2s on O3 gets choppy video and occasional lag spikes around 300m, the phantom just... doesnt. same conditions same day.
i know on paper O3 is supposed to be the better tech and the range specs are way higher but specs are specs you know. curious if anyone else has done any kind of real world comparison or if im just getting unlucky with my particular unit. also worth noting my area has gotten more congested with 5g towers in the last year or so, not sure if thats relevant but throwing it out there
