random question but do any of you guys have a pre flight ritual or is that just me

so anyway ive been flying for about 3 years now and somewhere along the way i developed this whole little routine before i even power anything on. check the props, check the props again, look at the sky for a sec, check the props one more time. my buddy thinks im insane but i crashed once because of a loose prop and i guess it just stuck with me

curious if other people have weird little habits like this or if most people just kind of wing it

lmao the prop check thing is real. i do the same thing. also i always do one last look at where im standing to make sure i have room to back up if something goes sideways on takeoff. learned that one the hard way when i tripped over a curb trying to move and just.. dropped the controller

I always check the weather app one more time right before arming even if I already checked it like 20 minutes ago. Completely pointless probably but it makes me feel better. Also I walk the area once if I've never flown there, just to get a sense of what's around. Helps me not be surprised mid flight by something I didnt notice from the car.
