so ive been following the remote ID rollout for a while now and honestly i still dont know what to make of it. like on paper the deadline passed, the rule is in effect, but i fly at my local park pretty regularly and i have never once been approached or asked about compliance. not saying i want to get hassled but it just feels like the enforcement side is basically nonexistent right now.
was reading something the other day that suggested the FAA is focusing more on commercial operators first before going after recreational flyers but i cant find the original source again. anyone actually seen any real enforcement action in their area or is this still mostly just the honor system at this point? also does anyone know if the new DJI mini 4 pro broadcast module actually works reliably because ive heard mixed things
