does the dji o3 vs o4 transmission thing actually matter for normal flying

so i was pretty close to pulling the trigger on a used mavic 3 classic at a decent price and then the person selling it mentioned the transmission is o3 and not o4 like on the newer stuff. i dont really understand the difference beyond newer = better marketing speak. like in actual real world flying around fields and parks and the occasional coastal area, is this something that would actually affect my experience or is it more of a spec number that matters in edge cases.

the price difference between getting the used classic vs something newer with o4 is probably 300-400 quid and im not sure if thats worth it for whatever o4 brings. been flying a phantom 4 pro v2 for years so anything is going to feel like an upgrade honestly but i dont want to buy something and then feel like i skimped on the wrong thing.

honestly for 90% of flying conditions you will never notice the difference. o3 on the mavic 3 series is already really solid, ive flown mine in moderately congested RF environments and never had a serious issue. the range numbers are a bit different on paper but realistically if youre flying at parks and coastal spots you are not pushing range limits where that delta matters.

the used classic at a good price sounds like the smarter move to me especially coming from a phantom 4 where the image quality step up is going to be massive regardless. dont let the o3 vs o4 thing talk you out of a good deal.

the mavic 3 classic camera is genuinely still excellent, like the hasselblad color profile on it is something people dont talk about enough compared to the newer mid range stuff. i'd take the used classic deal personally, that 300-400 difference could go toward nd filters or a second battery which you'll actually notice every single flight
