so been seeing some vague posts and a couple youtube thumbnails hinting at a new Autel EVO release sometime this year but cant tell if its actual news or just speculation bait. i genuinely like my EVO Lite+ and have been curious whether autel is going to push something that competes more directly with the mavic 3 pro range or if they're going after the mini segment again

the Nano series never really took off the way i think they hoped and im wondering if they pivot back to the higher end stuff. anyone seen any legit leaks or announcements? not looking for rumor mill garbage, just wondering if someone in this community has seen something from a reliable source

there was something on the autel robotics twitter a few weeks back that seemed like a teaser, weird cryptic image of what looked like an obstacle avoidance sensor setup but could have been anything honestly. take that for what its worth. i follow a couple of the bigger drone channels and none of them have gotten early access units or anything so probably still a ways out or its just marketing fluff

personally i think autel is in a tough spot right now because of all the uncertainty around DJI's US market situation - if DJI actually gets restricted in any meaningful way autel has a real oppertunity but they'd need to move fast and their software still lags behind in my experience

not sure about the new release stuff but just wanted to say i switched from DJI to the EVO Max 4T for work and the thermal integration is genuinely impressive for the price point. if they do the same with a prosumer release it could be worth paying attention to. their customer support has gotten better too which was always the knock on them
