honestly i switched from premiere to resolve just for the color tools and never looked back. theres a bit of a learning curve but there are so many good free tutorials specifically for drone d-log foo
okay so this is kind of embarrassing but my current workflow is basically dump everything from the SD card into a folder on my desktop, open premiere, drag clips in, mess around for a couple hours and then give up or export something im not totally happy with. i know thats bad
the color grading part especially. i shoot in d-log on my mini 3 pro and i have like 6 different luts ive downloaded and i just slap one on and call it a day which i think is the wrong approach but i dont really know what the right approach is. the colors never quite look right ? skies go weird or skin tones look greenish
does anyone have a workflow they actually stick to consistently? not looking for anything super professional just something that doesnt feel like im starting from scratch every single time
