not a dumb question at all, this trips a lot of people up. for 6S freestyle the general rule of thumb is you want lower KV ? like 1700-1900kv range is the sweet spot for most 2306 or 2207 motors. 2450

yeah i went through almost the exact same thing when i built mine a few months back. ended up going with 2207 1900kv on 6S with a 45A 4in1 and its been totally fine for the flying i do. never hit ther

alright so ive been flying whoops for like a year and decided to finally pull the trigger on a proper 5inch freestyle build. been watching builds on youtube for weeks and i feel like i know just enough to be dangerous lol
the part im stuck on is matching the motors to the ESC. im looking at 2306 2450kv motors but i dont know if im better off getting a 4in1 ESC at 45A or just going with 55A. the stack im considering is the SpeedyBee F405 v3 which seems pretty popular right now. running 6S because everyone seems to say just go 6S and dont look back
is the 45A gonna be enough headroom for freestyle or should i just get the 55A and not worry about it? also does the motor KV even matter that much on 6S, ive seen people say 2450kv is too high for 6S but then i see builds running it fine
sorry if this is a dumb question, still wrapping my head around all of it
