so i was digging through some FAA notices last night and it looks like they've actually started sending out enforcement letters to some operators who haven't complied with remote ID yet. like actual letters, not just the usual 'we're watching' kind of language. i know a lot of people in this community have been sort of half-ignoring it hoping it would just get pushed back again like everything else but it seems like they're starting to get serious.
for context im running a small aerial photography side business and ive been compliant since pretty early on but i have a buddy who flies recreationally and still hasnt registered his mavic or added a remote ID module. been trying to get him to deal with it for months. anyone else seeing more enforcement activity in their area or is this still pretty spotty depending on where you are?
