Mini 3 Pro persistent disconnects at 250m - cable or frequency issue?

Having consistent signal drops with my Mini 3 Pro around 250-300m distance in open field conditions. Controller antennas are properly oriented and I've checked the USB-C cable integrity. Signal strength shows good until it suddenly cuts to zero and triggers RTH. Considering switching from default 2.4GHz to 5.8GHz since I read that can help with stability. Anyone experienced similar issues with this specific distance range? Could this be interference from nearby cellular towers or a hardware fault?
