so i've been flying the mavic 2 pro since like 2019 and honestly it still works great, but i kept hearing people talk about the mini 4 pro and figured id finally just grab one on sale last month. been out with it maybe 6 or 7 times now and im still kind of processing whether i made the right call.
the obvious stuff first ? yeah its lighter and the image quality is honestly surprisingly close to what i was getting with the mavic 2, maybe even better in some conditions. the obstacle avoidance feels more responsive too which caught me off guard a few times when it started braking in ways the old bird wouldnt have. but here's the thing that's bugging me, the wind handling just feels... softer? like i took it out last week in probably 18-20mph gusts and it was doing fine technically but it felt way more nervous than my mavic 2 did in similar conditions. could just be me being used to the heavier platform.
anyone else come from the mavic 2 line and have thoughts on this? curious if the wind thing is just a perception thing or if others noticed it too
