figure 8s. seriously just go do figure 8s around two objects until theyre boring. sounds stupidly simple but they force you to coordinate yaw and roll at the same time in a way that hovering never doe

the panic at 30% throttle thing i remember that feeling. for me what broke it was just deliberately going to a big open field with nothing to hit and just doing punch outs straight up. not recording,
ok so this might be a dumb question but how do people actually practice intentional maneuvers as opposed to just flying around and hoping they get better. ive been flying a whoop in my living room and thats helped a lot with stick control but when i go outside with my cinematic quad everything kind of falls apart. im fine in calm air doing slow stuff but the moment i try to do anything with speed or any kind of banking turn it either looks sloppy or i panic and go back to position hold.
i feel like im missing some fundamental drill or approach. like is there a progression people actually use or do most people just log hours and figure it out. i tried watching fpv tutorials but a lot of those assume you want to do freestyle which isnt really my goal, i just want smoother controlled movement and to stop being scared of anything over like 30% throttle.
running a 5 inch cinewhoops build on betaflight if that matters, rates are pretty low right now because i turned them down when i kept overcorrecting.
