im in a similar boat lol, been watching youtube comparisons for weeks. one thing i saw that kinda swayed me toward the mini 3 pro is the weight thing - staying under 249g opens up a lot of locations t
so ive been going back and forth on this for like three weeks now and i cant make up my mind. currently flying a mini 2 which has been great but im ready to upgrade and the two options im stuck between are the mini 3 pro and the air 3. the price gap is pretty significant, like we're talking almost 400 bucks difference depending on where you buy and what combo you get.
heres the thing though - i dont do any professional work. im just a weekend guy who likes to fly at the beach and around hiking trails, occasional family vacation stuff. i dont need the omnidirectional obstacle avoidance necessarily but the air 3's dual camera thing is genuinely tempting. my mini 2 footage is fine but i find myself wishing i had a tighter zoom sometimes.
anyone actually switched from something similar and can tell me if the air 3 is really that much better in day to day flying? or am i just going to pay 400 extra dollars and not notice most of the time
