our club meetup yesterday was kind of a mess tbh

so we had about 15 people show up which was way more than usual and nobody really had a plan for how to handle that many people flying at once. ended up with like 6 quads in the air at the same time and one guy almost clipped another dude's fpv build on a low pass. nobody crashed but it got tense. i think we need to set up some kind of rotation or at least agree on altitude bands before we just all launch at once. does anyone elses club actually do this in an organized way or is it always kind of freeform chaos

yeah the bigger the group the more you need at least a basic structure. the club i fly with does a simple spotter rotation on busy days and splits the field in half for fpv vs line of sight. took us one bad near miss to figure that out honestly. worth bringing it up before the next one rather than after something actually goes wrong
