Mini 5 Pro Plus batteries won't charge two at a time in hub - anyone else?

  • Members

Hey everyone! Just upgraded from standard to Plus batteries for my Mini 5 Pro and ran into a frustrating issue. The charging hub now only charges batteries in sequence instead of two at a time like it did with the standard batteries. Did a bit of research and found that the two-at-a-time charging might only be for non-Plus batteries.

But I'm seeing conflicting info in Facebook groups where people claim their Plus batteries charge simultaneously with a 100w charger. I tried my DJI 100w charger from another drone and still get sequential charging only. Has anyone actually gotten Plus batteries to charge simultaneously? What am I missing here?

Wait, so the expensive Plus batteries are actually MORE limited than the standard ones? That seems backwards! I was about to order the Plus battery combo but now I'm second-guessing.

The hub maxes out at 100w anyway, so a higher wattage charger won't help. I think DJI designed it this way because Plus batteries draw more power individually. It's annoying but at least they last way
