i tried dronelink for a month and went back to litchi tbh. maybe i just didnt spend enough time learning it but the interface felt cluttered to me and i kept having to look stuff up. litchi just makes
so ive been using Litchi for like 3 years now and honestly it does what i need but a buddy of mine wont shut up about Dronelink and how its way more flexible for complex missions. im running a Mini 3 Pro mostly for mapping some farmland we lease and occasional real estate stuff.
my main gripe with Litchi lately is the waypoint altitude behavior when the terrain changes ? it just doesnt handle slope transitions as smoothly as id like and ive had a couple shots that were basically unusable because the bird was too low coming over a ridge. terrain following is supposed to work but i feel like it lags or something.
anyway curious if anyone has actually made the switch or uses both. is Dronelink worth the subscription cost on top of everything else we're already paying for. also does it work offline because some of the fields i fly are basically dead zones for data.
