so at our local AMA club meeting last weekend one of the guys who does a lot of flying at sanctioned events was saying he heard from someone at a regional fly-in that FAA enforcement on remote ID is starting to ramp up, like actually showing up at sites and checking. i have no idea how accurate this is because its pretty much second hand information at this point but it got me thinking about whether i should finally deal with my older quads that arent compliant
i know the broadcast modules exist and ive been putting off buying one because the whole thing felt kind of theoretical enforcement-wise for a long time. but if theyre actually starting to care about it maybe its time. does anyone have recent firsthand experience with this or is it still pretty much honor system territory depending on where you are
