been flying a Diatone Roma F5 for about 8 months and its been great but i cracked the frame pretty bad last week and im trying to decide if i should just replace the frame or use this as an excuse to switch things up. ive been eyeing the iFlight Nazgul Evoque F5 V2 for a while and a friend keeps telling me iFlight has better build quality out of the box but honestly i dont know if i believe that or if its just brand loyalty talking.
from what i can tell both companies are using pretty similar component tiers ? Diatone tends to go with their own branded stack which has been fine for me, iFlight uses SUCCEX or their own stuff too. i feel like at this point the difference is more about frame geometry and personal preference than actual quality gaps but maybe im wrong.
anybody gone from one to the other and actually noticed a difference in flight feel or durability? or am i overthinking this and should just buy a replacement Roma frame for 30 bucks and move on
