yeah the gimbal startup thing is just how it is with the EVO II, you kind of learn to just wait it out before you take off. i usually power on, let it settle, do my pre-flight checks, by the time im d

I switched from a Mini 2 to the EVO II and the jump felt huge to me, probably not the same experience as coming from a Mavic 2 Pro but just wanted to say the image quality really is something else onc

so ive been flying a Mavic 2 Pro for the past couple years and finally decided to try something different. grabbed an EVO II Pro 6K a few weeks back mostly because i was curious about the 6K sensor and honestly a little tired of everyone having the exact same footage as me at spots lol
first thing i noticed is the build feels really solid, like more substantial than the Mavic somehow. folding arms are a little different to get used to but nothing crazy. the Skylink app has gotten way better than it used to be from what i can tell reading old threads, havent had major issues with it.
the 6K footage is genuinely impressive especially in good light. low light is... fine, not as clean as id hoped but acceptable. one thing that bugged me is the gimbal takes a second to stabilize when you first power up, longer than im used to. not a dealbreaker just different.
anyway curious if anyone else made a similar switch or has tips for getting the most out of this thing. also wondering if the ND filter sets from third parties are worth it or should i just go with Autel's own ones
