so ive had my avata 2 for about a month now and been flying it pretty regularly, nothing too crazy just some indoor flights and regular outdoor sessions with the motion controller 3

lately ive been noticing the motors get really warm after like 10-12 minutes of flying, even in normal mode just cruising around. is this normal or should i be worried about it? the temps here arent even that hot, maybe 75F outside

havent crashed it or anything, motors sound fine when spinning up but that heat has me a bit concerned. might be overthinking it but dont want to fry anything expensive you know

yeah thats pretty normal actually, especially if youre doing any kind of sport mode flying or quick movements. the avata 2 motors are pretty small and they work hard to keep that thing stable and responsive

ive been flying mine for like 6 months now and same thing happens. as long as theyre not getting so hot you cant touch them and the drone isnt giving you overheating warnings youre probably fine. just let it cool down between batteries if youre doing back to back flights

Mine does this too! I was freaking out at first but apparently its just how these little motors are. The avata 2 is way more powerful than the original so the motors have to work harder

Only time id worry is if one motor is way hotter than the others or if youre getting actual error messages. Otherwise just part of the fpv life i guess
