so i've been flying for about 8 months now and honestly most of my footage has been pretty trash until this past weekend. went out to this reservoir near my place early morning, maybe 6:30am, fog was sitting right on the water and i just got lucky with the light. flew maybe 3 batteries worth and pulled some clips i'm actually proud of for once.
uploaded to youtube if anyone wants to take a look, not gonna spam the link unless people actually want to see it. mostly wide orbits and a slow push in over the water. nothing fancy but the colors came out way better than usual, think the fog diffused everything nicely. using a mini 3 pro btw, no color grading other than some basic contrast tweaks in premiere.
anyone else find that overcast or foggy mornings just kill it for footage? feels like every time i go out in full sun i regret it
