so ive been running the same rpsma antennas that came with my vtx for like 8 months now and theyre getting pretty beat up from crashes. saw some clones on banggood for like $3 each vs $15 for the real ones and im wondering if anyone has tried them

mostly fly around trees and buildings so range isnt huge but dont want my video cutting out randomly you know. the reviews look fake but figured id ask here first

honestly those cheap ones work fine for me, been using them for months without issues. just make sure theyre the right connector type and frequency. worst case scenario you lose $3 right

i tried some cheap antennas from aliexpress once and they worked okay until one of them just stopped working completely after maybe 20 flights. no visible damage or anything it just went dead. ended up going back to genuine ones cause i got tired of the uncertainty. but if youre on a tight budget they might be worth trying i guess
