so ive been flying my mini 3 for about 8 months now and i feel like this was the first time i actually got something worth showing people. was out at the reservoir near my place, wind was pretty calm for once, and i just let it hover while the sun went down behind the hills. the color grading took me forever cause i shot in d-log and i still dont really know what im doing in davinci but i think it came out alright.

anyone else find that the hardest part isnt the flying its the editing after? like i have hours of footage and it takes me way longer to cut it than it did to actually fly. anyway if anyone wants to watch it i can post the link, just wasnt sure if thats cool here or if people care about that kind of thing

post the link man, thats what this section is for. sunset reservoir stuff is usually pretty solid if the light cooperates. d-log is a pain at first but once you get a lut you like and stop overthinking the lift/gamma wheels it clicks. took me probably a year before i stopped just slapping a preset on everything and calling it done
