so i heard through the club facebook group that theres a casual fly-in happening at riverside park on saturday the 14th, supposedly starting around 9am but knowing how these things go itll probably be more like 10 before anyone actually gets in the air lol. i went to the one last spring and it was a solid turnout, maybe 20-25 people, mix of fixed wing and quads which was cool to see. thinking about bringing the mini 3 and maybe the analog freestyle build if i can get it tuned before then. anyone else planning on showing up?

yeah im planning on going, been to a few of their meetups before and theyre pretty chill. last time someone brought a giant turbine jet and honestly it kind of stole the show, everyone just stood around watching that thing. bring the freestyle quad for sure, theres a decent open area near the back of the field away from where the fixed wing guys set up

is this an sanctioned event or just a informal thing? asking because im still getting my head around where i can and cant fly and dont want to show up somewhere and find out its not actually legal to fly there lol. been burned before
