sounds like you might need oblique shots for terrain with elevation changes. nadir only works fine for flat areas but steep slopes need different angles to get proper coverage. try adding some 45 degr

also check your gsd - 120ft might be too high depending on what kind of detail you need. i usually fly lower for terrain mapping, like 80-100ft max. and make sure you're not flying too fast, sometimes

so ive been getting this strange warping on one side of my 3d models lately and cant figure out whats causing it. using a mavic 2 pro with 75% overlap front and side, flying at about 120ft agl. the weird part is it only happens on models that have significant elevation changes
processing in pix4d and the camera calibration looks fine, no obvious errors in the quality report. but the final mesh always has this like stretching effect on steep slopes. flight pattern is standard lawn mower with nadir shots only
