been flying for about 8 months now and i think im finally starting to get the hang of timing golden hour properly. went out last tuesday near the reservoir by my house and honestly the light was just perfect, that soft orange hitting the water. shot in D-Log and did a quick grade in Lightroom, nothing fancy.

still not totally happy with my horizon lines, they always seem slightly off when i look at them on the big screen later even though they look fine on the controller. anyone else get that? anyway here's the link to the gallery if anyone wants to check it out and give honest feedback, i can take it

horizon thing is probably your controller screen playing tricks on you tbh, the brightness outside makes it hard to judge. i always do a final check in post before i export anything. those reservoir shots sound nice though, that kind of still water reflection in golden hour is hard to beat when you nail it
