so ive been flying for about 8 months now and honestly most of my clips have been pretty meh but yesterday something clicked. went out to the reservoir near my place around 6am before anyone else showed up and the light was just insane. did a slow pull back from the dock while dropping altitude slightly and it actually looked cinematic for once lol

uploaded it to my youtube if anyone wants to take a look and give feedback, im still trying to figure out color grading in davinci, the log footage always looks flat to me until i mess with it for like an hour. any tips on that would be great too honestly

that golden hour at reservoirs is no joke, i did something similar a few weeks back and the reflections on the water made everything look way better than my skill level deserves haha. whats your color grading workflow like? i struggled with log for ages and then someone told me to just pull up the blacks less aggressively and it helped a ton
