this is getting embarrassing. failed with a 68 first time then studied for another month and got a 69 yesterday. im clearly missing something fundamental here but i cant figure out what it is. ive been using the faa handbook and doing practice tests online but obviously somethings not clicking. anyone else struggle this much or am i just not cut out for this

dude dont give up, the test is genuinely harder than it needs to be. what sections are you struggling with most? for me it was all the airspace stuff and weather that kept tripping me up. once i found some better resources for those specific topics everything started making sense

Yeah the scoring is brutal, you need 70 to pass and some of those questions are just poorly worded. I'd say focus on the areas you're weakest in rather than trying to review everything again. Also make sure youre using current practice tests because i think some of the older ones online have outdated info. Third time should be the charm
