anyone going to the fly-in at Riverside park this weekend?

so i heard through the facebook group that theres a casual fly-in happening at Riverside park saturday morning, think it starts around 9am but i dont actually know if thats confirmed or not. been wanting to meet some local pilots for a while now cause flying solo gets kinda boring after a few months. bringing my Mini 3 probably, maybe the whoops if i can fit everything in the car. anyone else planning to show up?

    is this open to beginners? i only got my part 107 like two months ago and i feel like id just be in the way lol. also do they usually have a safety briefing or just kind of show up and fly?

yeah i saw that post, i think Dave from the club organized it. last time they did one of these maybe 40 people showed up which was way more than expected. bring the whoops for sure, they always draw a crowd and honestly its way more fun watching those rip around at ground level than the bigger stuff. i'll be there with my Avata probably
