so ive been flying my mini 3 for about 6 months now and i think i finally got something worth sharing. went out to this reservoir near my house last tuesday, golden hour was insane, just absolutely perfect conditions. filmed for maybe 40 minutes before the battery died on me.

the footage looks great on my phone but im not sure if its actually good or if im just hyped because i was there. you know how that is. the color grading is pretty minimal, just pushed the shadows a bit and dropped the highlights, trying to keep it natural. posted it unlisted on youtube if anyone wants to actually watch it and tell me what they think. link is in my profile.

mainly curious if my movement is smooth enough or if i should slow my gimbal settings down more. sometimes i feel like the pans are just slightly too fast but cant tell anymore after watching it 50 times

watched it, yeah the pans are a little quick in a couple spots, specifically around the 1:20 mark where you swing left to follow the shoreline. not terrible but slowing that down by like 30% would probably make it feel more cinematic. the light you caught though is genuinely really nice, that reflection on the water near the end is great. dont be too hard on yourself, six months in and shooting like that is solid
