not sure if this is weird but i dont really plan my flights out. like i see people talking about shot lists and scouting locations on google maps beforehand and all that and i just... dont do any of that. i grab my bag drive somewhere that looks interesting and just wander around in the air until the battery dies basically

got some great shots that way and also some completley boring ones. but honestly thats kind of the fun part for me. idk feels more like actually exploring than following a script

thats how i started and honestly some of my favorite clips came from just messing around with no goal. the problem i ran into is i kept flying the same spots because i wasnt planning ahead so now i force myself to at least pick somewhere new on a map. but yeah no shot list ever lol

i mean if you're happy with the results then who cares right. planning is for people who are trying to make something specific. if youre just flying for fun there shouldnt be rules about it
