so ive been flying my mini 3 for about 8 months now and honestly most of my footage has been pretty mediocre but last saturday everything kind of clicked. went out to this reservoir about 20 mins from my house, golden hour was perfect, barely any wind. did a slow reverse pull-back from this old wooden dock and i genuinely couldnt believe how good it came out when i got home and threw it on the big screen.

anyway ill drop the youtube link below if anyone wants to check it. mostly just want honest feedback, not looking for hype. if the color grading is off just say it, i used a free LUT i found somewhere and im not sure it totally works with the DLog-M footage

dock pullback shots are always a gamble but when they work they really work. color grading looks a bit warm to me in the midtones, like the wood is almost orange? might just be the lut clipping a bit. but the movement is smooth so thats the main thing honestly, people obsess over color and forget that shaky footage or weird acceleration ruins the whole vibe way faster than imperfect grading does

nice one, what altitude were you at for that shot? looks like maybe 60-70ft? im trying to get better at judging where to start my pulls from so the subject stays in frame the whole way back
