customs took my drone batteries at the airport and im still annoyed about it

okay so this was a few weeks ago but it still bugs me. flying back from thailand and the security at bkk made me take out all my lipo batteries and then one of the guys said my 5000mah ones couldnt go in carry on because of the wh rating. i had them labeled and everything, they were under the 100wh limit, i even had the printout. eventually a supervisor came over and let them through but i missed my original boarding group and it was just a whole thing. anyway moral of the story i guess is carry documentation for your batts and maybe get there earlier than you think you need to if youre flying out of southeast asia, the rules seem to get applied really inconsistently depending on whos at the desk that day
