anyone been to a fly-in before? thinking about going to my first one

so theres a local fly-in happening about an hour from me next month and ive never actually flown with other people before, always just solo in fields by myself. not sure what to expect tbh. do people just show up and fly or is there like a schedule and stuff? also wondering if its weird to show up with just a mini 2 when everyone else probably has these massive cinema rigs or racing quads or whatever

dude just go, seriously. i was nervous about my first one too thought everyone would be judgy about gear but honestly nobody cares what you fly. half the people there had phantoms and minis and stuff.

mini 2 is fine. went to one last summer and the guy who got the most attention had a tiny whoop he was doing proximity stuff with. nobody is there to judge your kit.
