so i've been sitting on this footage for like two weeks and finally just forced myself to sit down and cut something together. shot it out at a reservoir near me, early morning so the light was actually pretty nice for once. mostly just slow push-ins over the water and a couple orbit shots around some old dock structure.

im using davinci to edit and honestly still figuring out the color grading side of things. i think i over-sharpened it a bit and the transitions feel a little choppy in places but whatever, its done. link in my profile if anyone wants to take a look. genuinely want honest feedback not just 'looks great man'

watched it, the morning light shots are actually really solid, you can tell you waited for the right time which a lot of people dont bother doing. the orbit around the dock is a bit fast imo, slowing that down like 20-30% would let the texture of the wood read better. and yeah the sharpening is a touch aggressive, try dialing back the detail slider and see how it feels. color grading takes forever to get a feel for, i was messing with it for months before anything looked intentional.
