so i saw a post on facebook about a casual fly-in happening saturday at millbrook park, think its the big open field near the east parking lot. havent been to one of these before and not sure what to expect, like do people just show up and fly or is there some kind of organized thing going on? im still pretty new and flying a mini 3 so hoping its not all like serious race guys or whatever

ive been to a few of these and honestly they're pretty chill, no pressure at all. mostly people just set up wherever theres space and fly around, chat a bit, look at each others gear. you'll probably see everything from tiny whoops to big 7 inch builds. mini 3 is totally fine, nobody cares what you're flying as long as you're not being unsafe about it

oh man i didnt even know about this one. is it the AMA club doing it or just random people? might try to come out if the weather holds up, been wanting to meet some local flyers for ages
