tried organizing a local meetup and it kinda fell apart

so anyway i spent like three weeks trying to set up a group fly thing at the field near me. got maybe 20 people saying they'd come on the facebook group, made a whole post about it with the time and location and everything. day of? four people showed up including me. one guy drove 45 minutes. i felt bad for him. i dont know if its just my area or if this is normal for these things but it was kind of discouraging. still had a good time with the people who did show up but man
