so ive been seeing posts about a fly-in happening at Riverside park saturday morning and im debating whether to go. never really done a group flight thing before and honestly a little nervous about flying around a bunch of people i dont know. like what even is the etiquette for that stuff, do you just show up and fly or is there some kind of sign in thing

also not sure if my mini 3 is gonna feel super out of place next to whatever crazy setups people bring lol

just go man, seriously. i was the same way at my first one and it ended up being chill as hell. most people are just happy to see someone new show up. nobody cares what you're flying, i showed up with an old mavic air once and there were guys with 7 inch freestyle builds and nobody said a word except to ask how i liked it

usually you just show up, find whoever looks like they're running the thing and introduce yourself. sometimes there's a sign in sheet for liability stuff depending on the club but nothing crazy

which riverside park? theres like three near me lol. but yeah same question basically, i heard about one too but couldnt find any details on start time
