saw it posted on the local RC club facebook page, looks like they're doing a group fly at Stony Creek park on saturday morning. i've never been to one of these things before and not sure what to expect. do people just show up and fly or is there like an actual schedule? also wondering if i need to be a club member or if guests are fine

ive been to a few of those stony creek ones, its pretty casual honestly. people just show up around 8-9am, set up their gear and fly. sometimes theres a raffle or someone does a demo but mostly its just hanging out and talking drones. no membership required from what i remember, just show up. bring something to sit on cause the waiting around between flights is real

oh man i didnt even know about this one. is it the same group that did the one by the lake in august? that one was great, met a guy there who helped me fix my rates on the spot which was super helpful. anyway yeah just show up, nobody cares if youre not a member at these things
