took the mini out to the lake saturday morning, barely any wind and the light was incredible around 7am. didn't even plan to film anything just wanted to fly tbh. ended up hovering over the water for like 20 minutes doing absolutely nothing productive and it was great. sometimes thats the whole point i guess

anyone else have a good weekend or was it the usual nothing

my weekend was a disaster lol. tried to finally set up my new goggles and spent like 4 hours just binding stuff and reading reddit threads. never actually flew. ordered pizza at 9pm and called it a night. the dream vs the reality of this hobby right there

lake flying at golden hour is hard to beat honestly. i did something similar a few weeks back out at the reservoir near me, just puttering around with no mission. sometimes you just need to fly with zero pressure and remember why you got into this in the first place. sounds like a solid saturday to me
