so i heard through someone in my local club that theres a informal fly-in happening at riverside park saturday morning, supposedly starts around 8am but i dont know if thats accurate. been trying to find more info but cant find anything on facebook or the club website. does anyone here know whos organizing it or if its still on? last one i went to got cancelled because of wind and nobody told anyone till like 20 minutes before

yeah i saw something about it on the regional RC group on facebook, pretty sure its legit. guy named Dave H is running it i think. they usually do a group frequency check around 8:30 and then just fly casual till noon or whenever people get tired. bring your own chairs though lol the park has nothing

oh man i didnt even know about this. is it open to beginners? i only have a mini 3 pro and feel kinda out of place at these things when everyone else shows up with like racing quads and long range builds
