rooftop urban stuff - anyone shooting in the city and actually happy with results

been trying to get good city shots for like three months and im just not feeling it. every time i go out i come back with footage that looks flat and kind of boring even though in the moment im thinking yeah this is the one. i dont know if its my composition or the drone itself, running an air 2s btw. tried shooting at blue hour a couple times which helped a little but still feels generic.

saw someone post a reel the other day of just downtown parking structures and construction sites and it looked way more interesting than my waterfront stuff which makes no sense to me. maybe im just picking the wrong subjects or angles or something. anyone actually cracked urban aerial footage and willing to share what changed for them
